It usually takes 3-10 sessions over 6 months to 2 years to remove a tattoo completely. This depends on two main factors: how deep the ink is and how dense it is. So it can take more than ten sessions, but sometimes only two are needed.

Would you like to have your old tattoo covered up? The PicoSure laser can lighten your existing tattoo in a targeted way – ideal for creating the perfect base for your new design. Depending on how intense the colours are, 1–3 sessions are usually enough to prepare the tattoo for a cover-up.
